Power dynamics are at the core of Halina Reijnās Babygirl, with Nicole Kidman delivering a captivating performance that left me wanting more of her journey down the rabbit hole. Harris Dickinson feels miscast, lacking the credibility to fully sell his role. A mild disappointment.

Why isnāt anyone talking about The Order?! Fans of crime dramas and neo-noir, especially True Detective Season 1, will devour it. I savored every bleak, atmospheric second. Jude Law delivers a career-best performance, while Nicholas Hoult continues an incredible run this year.

Robert Eggersā Nosferatu is visually striking, with exquisite set design, rich costumes, and haunting cinematography. Its dark, brooding atmosphere captivates throughout. Lily-Rose Depp delivers a sensational performance in one of the yearās best films.

Really loved
#Wicked
. A grand showcase of a film. The praise for Grande is warranted, but Iām here to say Erivo is equally terrific. The costumes, set design, song and dance numbers⦠the whole thing is super-sized and sensational.

The Last Showgirl has been compared to Aronofskyās The Wrestler, but it feels closer to early Sean Baker, with its focus on marginalized communities, economic struggles, & resilience. Pamela Anderson adds depth to a character that, while not complex, feels authentic & compelling.

We Live In Time lives up to its title, weaving through the journey of two lovers as they navigate marriage, parenthood, and lifeās challenges. Florence Pugh and Andrew Garfield are great, though the film leans a bit too heavily on sentimentality for my taste. Cute, though.

Thereās a great movie inside The Seed of the Sacred Fig, but itās too bloated in both the first and third acts. What begins as a conventional family drama sprouts into a tense, obsessive thriller, but itās a slog to get going and lingers in the climactic paranoia far too long.

Watched Fancy Dance today and canāt understand why Lily Gladstone isnāt getting more attention for Lead Actress. She conveys more with her eyes than most actors do with their entire bodies. A really good film driven by her outstanding performance.

Juror #2 draws heavily from Sidney Lumetās 1957 classic, 12 Angry Men, maintaining the tension, colorful mix of characters, & courtroom drama. It adds a twist involving a jurorās past actions, bringing in more suspense & moral dilemmas. If you donāt overthink it, itās a fun watch.
