Legacy The deserted village on the mountain slopes of Slievemore on Achill Island, Co. Mayo is a lasting testimony to man’s cruelty and greed. Its people were left to starve, or evicted by greedy landlords to make way for livestock, whilst the abundant cereal crop was exported. #photography
