SO! Culvert's horns have filled out! Despia's signature curve is more than apparent (as is the hint of blue along the inside. ...or is that Athena's influence?) Still gave my girl the couple points of seperation from the horn so it looks like they might connect. But I love it~ What do you think?

Mocked this up after the last pallet study and added some new horns! It's not as imposing as ones that go up, but it still looks cool!

So here are my little designs for Culvert's horns!! For fun I had Despia (blue) and Culvert (purple) give their opinions on each! I ultimately think I might go with the two curled horns, but what do you think? Which do you like? How would you tackle this sort of process for your own OC?

Now that Sebastian was scared for life, he can't look Culvert OR Vaul in the eyes. But it's sort of a joke with as many times that Culvert has been tied up this cycle alone, she has a bit of a bondage thing. XD The manacles Seb sent after her to draw on her face with, didn't help!!

The trade was made; a horn for blood and safety. At least a horn will grow back! Once Vaul saved Culvert from the manacles Sebastian sent to torment her, they had a very tender evening in each other's arms. Unfortunately, Sebastian witnessed all of it in his hiding spot below.

With Culvert fretting over Sebastian and Lorrean-and Vaul taking a battalion of Gith after the Stigmata, she makes an alter for Despia... and earns a subsequent meeting with her via Lyssa. How often does a God have someone come offering a trade?

Finished listening to The Haar A horror novel is a perfect description, with our old heroin entering a pact woth an entity upon the understanding that people will have to die for her peace to remain. A grotesquely intriguing tale in both word and imagery.

I'd love to open up to y'all for some input for a small but significant part of a redesign for Culvert! Her horns! What do you think?

I desperately wanted to colour the pomegranate seeds! So I did the primary pieced! Might do Truth Seeker later but for now, I love how the colours look!

'Divinity will swallow you whole and spit you out, wine-dark and wanting' I do love the Olive symbolism with Culvert, and the pomegranate is a beautifully morbid addition!

Finished Mortal Follies!! A deliciously pleasant Sapphic tale set in the 1800s regarding love, curses, and the tribulations that come from dealing with the gods! A charming read with high stakes, it is the precursor to 'Confounding Oaths'. The dip into god and fairy lore is most enlightening!

In an effort to finish my audio book list, I've returned to the Paleontologist. While the supernatural aspect is something I rather enjoyed the human mystery that plagued this book ended up being just as intriguing. If you like dinos or a bit of a spook, I'd give it a listen! 1/2
