Tump: Security forces entered a home in Dazin (Tump) last night, tortured and abducted a man named Zareef Baloch S/O Homar. Today in the noon, his dead body was dumped in the area, with marks of severe torture. Locals say he succumbed to continuous tortures of state forces.

On around 17 Dec this year, security forces have abducted a 13-year old Balach S/O Sabrullah, R/O Sordo (Panjgur) after torturing the child. Since then, his whereabouts are unknown. Forces are continuously harassing civilians in the name of security. #EndEnforcedDisappearances

Asif Baloch, a teacher in Parom (Panjgur), takes responsibility of teaching several students on his own initiative, completing 100 days followed by an evaluation exam. “Through this, I aimed to provide these children’s mind with the opportunity to learn and grow.” Asif says.

Talal Umer Baloch is one among those abducted from Dasht Khuddan on December 10, 2014 – the International Human Rights Day. Until now, his whereabouts remain unknown. His family is concerned and demands his immediate and safe release from “state torture cells”.

LEAs’ use of excessive powers, rendered by the so-called public representatives, is a direct hint that human rights in Balochistan, along with the media, are a blackout. Stopping BMC students from the protest against militarisation of institutes is the series of such violations.

Quetta Police have ‘illegally’ locked the main gate of Bolan Medical College (BMC), not allowing students to record their rally from BMC to Provincial Assembly. Police say they have orders from DC and DSP while not showing it to the students, saying they are “not bound to do so”.

Student organizations urge BMC students to stay firm against “anti-educational policies of BMC administration” by opening a portal for hostel registration, while urging them to refrain from submission. They call for a protesting rally on Friday from BMC to Provincial Assembly.

All Balochistan Students Alliance calls for a seminar under the title “From Classrooms to Camps: Reclaiming the Right to Learn in Balochistan” against the closure of BMC, militarisation of campuses, harassment, enforced disappearances threatening students’ rights and education on Sunday (Dec 8).

The Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) says that only in November 2024, 88 Baloch faced forced disappearances with 8 killed extrinsically. In their statement on Human Rights Day, they state that LEAs have “systematically stripped the Baloch of their universal fundamental rights”.

In their latest press release, while stressing on Baloch nation’s ancient status, the Baloch Students Council Islamabad paid tribute to the Baloch poet and historian, Mir Gul Khan Naseer on his 41st death anniversary.

Baloch and Pashtoon student organizations, in their latest press conference, expresses concerns over college and hostel closure despite a pity issue which was eventually solved. They termed the admin decision to close the two till March 2025 upsetting.

The other three are identified as Arshad Rafiq, Abdul Shakoor Saleh and Khalil Siddique who were abducted by forces from the Paroom region of district Panjgur last night. The incident has left the people in a traumatic state.

Last night, security forces entered a home in Paroom, abducting four youth. One among them is recognized as Waseem Hashim, while the rest to be identified, claims his uncle. Similar incidents took place in Gwadar last night as well. Enforced disappearances have rapidly increased.

A student of IT from Gwadar University, Zahid Mustafa is lately abducted by law enforcement agencies from his home tonight at around 12. According to his cousin, forces used violence on other family members, including children and women, and forcibly disappeared Zahid.

At a time where the @LUAWMSOfficial should have stood for their student, they are ignoring it as a “no-issue”. We can derive that every institution is equally involved in the Baloch genocidal policies. The Uthal University is a clear example with what they are doing.

Despite protesting sit-in continued at the varsity for the safe release of Bayandur Baloch, a student of the @LUAWMSOfficial, including Bayandur’s old father and sister, varsity has schedules papers, overlooking at the grieving family, who called for class boycott tomorrow.
