The weekend is here and it's a return to winter! Plan on some snow late Saturday and a chill for Sunday.

Snow totals have trended up a bit for Saturday evening-Sunday morning. We're still not expecting a big storm, but some areas in Michigan and near Lake Erie could get over 1" of snow. Most of the area can expect a dusting to 1" of snow.

Colder weather on the way. Near 60 today, mid 40s Saturday and only in the upper 20s/near 30 Sunday. Don't put away that winter coat just yet!

Did you know that most of NW Ohio is in an extreme drought? Looks like some good news to put a dent into our precipitation deficit over the next ten days. 2-3" of rain expected for most with a few areas picking up close to 4".

Coldest night of the week. Bundle up Tuesday morning. Temps will dip into the teens with feels like temps between 5 and 10 degrees.

Had enough snow this year or are you looking forward to more snow? We're just about on track so far this season. We've received 28.8" so far, just 0.4" below normal. Much more than last year!

Tuesday update: AM commute looks good. Snow developing in the evening, after 6pm. Just a clipper system that'll zoom on by. Only leaving behind a dusting to 1/2" of snow by midnight.

Get your February heating bill yet? Just got mine...wow! The average temperature for February 2025 was 25.7 degrees. The average temperature this year (so far) 16.4 degrees! Makes sense (I guess) that the bill was a big one.

Happy Saturday! Welcome back to February-like weather. Temperatures are about 10 to 20 degrees colder than yesterday at this time. Chilly and breezy today, throw in the overcast skies and it sure looks and feels like February again. Still expecting light snow tomorrow.

Snow returns to NW Ohio and SE Michigan Sunday. 1-2" of total accumulation for most with some additional snow possible Monday morning for areas east of I-75.

What a windy Friday! Peak gusts came close to 60 mph! Here's a list of some maximum gusts today in NW Ohio. One of those days to be on the lookout for garbage cans, lids, recycle bins, and twigs/branches.

Wow! The weather couldn't be much different compared to 24 hours ago. It's nearly 30 degrees colder than yesterday at this time! Throw in the fog, mist and clouds...nothing like sunny and 66 degrees from yesterday.
