Friends! The Intense Heat really is sending Baby Dog LOOPY. I’m training Percy (who is fast becoming my Deputy) to deal with him when he’s like this. I’ve taught Percy to use THE LOOK and here, you’ll see he uses it brilliantly to calm Baby Dog down. I was impressed!

Friends! Yesterday (21st June) was the Longest Day #SummerSolstice We had 16 hours and 40 minutes of sun ☀️ We have a tradition of staying up late to wait for the sun to set on this special day. We watched our Solar Hot Air Balloons light up and the sun set at 10.07pm. Wow! ☀️

If Mum’s doing a big one that won’t fit on her puzzle board, she has to do it on the table and cover it with a cloth so it doesn’t get pulled apart. Trouble is, Percy knows it’s there!

Friends! The Little One brought home a new Friend… another Cat! It has somewhat set the Cat amongst the Pigeons in our house. I have so far shown no interest in it (obviously) and the Triplets seem to want to look after it. Baby Dog, however, just wants to shout at it! Chaos ensues!

Friends! I have always loved cuddling up to Baby Dog. He’s warm and soft and fluffy, and I feel the love coming from him. I will often choose to cuddle up to him when he’s asleep. Sometimes my presence makes him feel a bit hot, but he’d never push me away because he loves me ❤️

Friends! After Baby Dog’s assaulted Ralphy’s ears with his singing yesterday, Ralphy got his revenge by worrying Baby Dog! Honestly, what am I going to do with these two? 🙀

Friends! The Ice Cream Man has been coming every day during our Heatwave, which has made Baby Dog very happy. Unfortunately yesterday, Ralphy happened to be outside our house when Baby Dog was singing. His reaction made Mum laugh a lot. Baby Dog, sadly, didn’t feel appreciated 🙀

Friends! Yesterday was unbearable heat, but today the temperature has gone down by 10° which is such a relief! Baby Dog and Cleo are celebrating by having an Impromptu Playtime, which they have not been able to do for a few days! I’m supervising, to check it doesn’t get out of control!

He isn’t allowed off his lead, because he can be a bit unpredictable, but he liked our beach a lot and we had fun together!

Friends! I have told Baby Dog that he doesn’t help his allergies by constantly shoving his face into the Triplets’ fur, but he loves doing it and won’t stop. HOWEVER, he DOES stop quite suddenly when he spots what I’m doing, and the video ends with a CLIFFHANGER!! Part two tomorrow morning! ❤️

Friends! Did you have a Lazy Sunday? Mum sometimes calls Ron and Percy the Lazy Boys, because they sleep SO much more than their sister Cleo. Ron’s favourite position is stretching across the entire length of the radiator. Percy always has a paw stretched out, as if waiting for it to be held ❤️ #cats

Friends! Mum picked up a new sofa cover for us at the Market. It needed robust testing to ensure it will cope with Intense Use. Baby Dog took to it straight away but the Triplets were more suspicious. I, of course, will ignore it for a few days, as is my style.

Friends! ❗️SOMETHING AMAZING HAPPENED! ❗️Mum was filming Ron playing in the box - she had thrown a few treats in there for him. Baby Dog clearly wanted to get in the box but was nervous. Only watching the footage back later did Mum see that RON WAS PASSING THE TREATS TO BABY DOG!!! Watch carefully! ❤️

Friends! If you come to visit us, please don’t expect to be able to sit in our Armchair. Baby Dog, Ron and Percy have completely claimed it as their own. There has been a bit of Argy-Bargy about who sleeps where, but they have sort of worked it out between them now. It’s their Boys’ Chair!

Friends! Baby Dog and I are on constant Fairy Watch 🧚‍♀️ whenever we can get out in the Garden. We are having some typical April Showers that arrive suddenly and then clear just as suddenly, so we are in and out a bit, BUT AT THE END… we are sure we saw a Fairy. WATCH CAREFULLY! DO YOU SPOT IT? 🧚 🧚‍♂️

Friends! It’s good to see the Triplets back to full fitness. Percy and Cleo were LEAPING around yesterday, Jump Scaring everyone, including themselves! It’s funny to watch Baby Dog trying to join in. He’s just a bit bewildered really! 😹

Chums! Baby Dog here. I am going to get in TROUBLE. I was a bit tired after Cleo disturbed my nap. Then later I found her in my favourite Armchair Spot and I was a bit grumpy with her. I didn’t realise that Ron had already tried to move her out of the Donut! Poor Cleo. I’ll make it up to her! 🤎

Friends! It’s been a tricky few days with Ron and Percy being off colour. Cleo seems to be as strong as an ox though! Even when she’s having a nap (and she doesn’t have many) she’s not very still. Always sucking on her leg! It’s a bit distracting when Baby Dog and I are trying to nap too!

Friends! Sorry we are late posting today, but Mum and I have been preparing a SPECIAL video for you. It’s a video showing you a typical day for me. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF MALCOLM THE CAT! Even though I’m an Old Boy now, my day is still very BUSY. I hope you enjoy this! #Caturday

Then I came out in sympathy with him and didn’t eat either! But this morning we have both eaten our breakfast. I think we’ll be ok 🧡

Friends! It’s #ThrowbackThursday and so I thought I’d share a video of when the Triplets were just one month old, and I was learning how to be a Grandpaw. I had to supervise their Playtimes. I’d had some experience of doing this with Ralphy, but I’d never supervised 3 kittens at once! #cats
