The week that was: - My wife D saw her oncologist with good news no more chemo, and seeing her oncologist every six weeks instead of a month. Small wins are good wins... Photo from just before I start my walk this morning....

We are back killing time again…. D had her pet scan and blood test… Now waiting for the oncologist tells what is next… Wait goes on again…. Wednesday next week, seven days.... Always seems a long time... Cancer is a bitch…..

A busy day with the family....

My brother Mark passed away eight years ago today. 7 August has come around again. Another year has gone, I’m still here, And you are still gone. Rest in Peace, Lloyd.

Our daughter S and her husband D, celebrated birth of their first child P. On 10 July 2025.

As a person who has aphasia. June is Aphasia Awareness month. Most people know that Bruce Wills has aphasia, which is so sad. So, what is aphasia? A good question?? The best description I have found is “Aphasia is a language disorder that affects a person’s ability to communicate.”

The week that was D is enjoying no chemo drugs for now. Tuesday, I saw my cardiologist and got my date 7 May 2025… More about what will happen on that day later… Defibrillator battery change coming soon…. On Thursday I was elected for Jury Duty…. Again, I needed an exemption a four-week trail… Life

This week that was… D has booked the trip to Adelaide… Yesterday I played guinea pig at NeuRA Centre as part of their SmartStep Stroke Trail. They now have an idea of how someone who suffered stroke will go with their test to become a participant in the project.

D seen her oncologist today… He was not happy with the result… They found a couple of spots under where her belly button was before her first operation. They are not sure where they are cancerous or not? He has decided to await another month… Then another scan.. So, we back to killing time, AgAin.

Our second daughter and her husband, who are known as the Irish couple S & D. Have finally announced that they are pregnant.

The week has was.... A sad or bad, probably indifferent week... There was some good... D had a CT still waiting for the final results.... D saw her oncologist.... The news was not what she hoped for.... Now there are more test and see him in two weeks' time. We are now killing time... Again...

The week coming up…. With hope and maybe some joy…. D has a CT on Monday…. C our grandson turns 2 on Tuesday… Wednesday D see her oncologist…. Sometime this week I turn another number that I NEVER believe that I would reach…. Have a great week…. The picture are from the start of my morning walks

A picture of our grandson... Tonight, for the first time in months by wife cooked dinner for us. Considering that she started her latest chemo of Wednesday.... We now are waiting her next CT in the next few weeks

We spend a wonderful 100 minutes watching the last ever show of the 'The Wharf Revue'. Satire at its best... Man, dress as a women politician who most people, so funny!!! They took the piss out of everyone in politics over the past twenty-five years. Thank you so much for the memories...

Another week done.. D next lot of chemo on 26 February.... There is another CT in March... Since its 3:40am today is going to be a hard day for me... Lack of sleep, then fighting neurofatigue for the rest of the day... Oh LUCKY me....

Another week in finished. D finish her medication, had her blood test and goes to see her oncologist on Monday. D is hoping again that she gets all clear, I'm sure she will be right on one third Monday but not this one. Ad least with had a lovely lunch on Valetine's Day. The enjoy of living with

Another day of wasting time. I spend in a small shop near the hospital. Looking at over price painting. Would you pay $1,000 for this painting? Thankfully that better than sitting in a waiting room, reading old magazines, I get enough of that when I go to see my specialist, far too often.

A coupled weeks spent getting blood test done and killing time, then finished Friday night out seeing a band.

This is almost the last of bad thing that happen to me… December and January are not my favourite time of the year… A heart attack and a stroke. Today 20 January I had a quadruple bypass surgery, ten years ago…. Thanks to my wife mates, who help find the right surgeon…. Thankfully I am still here…
