From what I can tell today, their plan is to defund public education so they will have an under-educated, uninsured, un-unionized work force. Deregulate all other environmental and workers protections, lower minimal pay etc. to “compete” with china. This makes total sense 🤓

One of the ideas in my book “Imperfect Solidarities” is that you can align with people momentarily and provisionally to move things forward—to be in solidarity does not have to mean agreeing with every single thing they’ve said and done ever. Solidarity is not an identification, it’s a strategy.

I need a new definition for “art” in this post postmodern, post truth world. Intent is not enough. Any thoughts ?
