Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor needs a Park & Ride facility. 25 mins looking for a space today, before driving offsite to park two streets away. It’s ridiculous! By contrast, the X Ray appointment was fast & efficient, in and out in 25 mins. The hospital needs to get on top of these parking problems!

Access to NHS dentistry is a major issue for many people in Bangor Aberconwy. Too many local dentists have reduced the number of appointments for NHS patients, increased appointment times & forced people onto dental plans they can’t afford. Lib Dems say the system isn’t working and needs to change.

At their recent Executive Meeting, Bangor Aberconwy Liberal Democrats passed a motion, congratulating Jane Dodds, Leader of the Welsh Liberal Democrats in achieving a Budget Agreement with the Welsh Government. The motion read:

So, it’s been decided, for the Senedd elections in 2026 we will be contesting the Bangor Conwy Môn Constituency, comprising the combined Westminster Constituencies of Bangor Aberconwy and Ynys Môn. The combined electorate will be in the region of 122,000 people.
