This is Mariam Abu Dagga, a 33-year-old journalist killed by Israeli strikes on Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis. In her will, she told her 13-year-old son: “Never forget me and remember that your mother did everything she could to make you happy, comfortable, and at ease.”

When told about the hospital strikes, Trump muttered he was “not happy” and wanted to “end that nightmare.” Blasé, empty words. This is the same man who bankrolls Israel with our tax dollars and attacks free press here at home while defending an ally murdering the press in Gaza.

Israel has now killed at least 197 journalists and struck hospitals again and again. Yet it continues to claim having “the most moral army in the world.” What morality is there in starving children, bombing doctors, and murdering reporters? This isn’t morality.

Netanyahu called Israel’s strike on Nasser Hospital — which killed at least 20 civilians, including 5 journalists — a “tragic mishap.” That was not a mishap. This is genocide.
