One of the most interesting downstream effects of AI code assistants is how the code humans write will likely evolve to match the type of code that LLMs are best equipped to understand and extend. E.g. strongly typed languages, TDD, strict boundaries, functional programming, etc.

At that price, I can’t imagine buying a RealityPro unless it could replace my MacBook. That said, it's already packing an M2 and can (presumably) run GitHub Codespaces if it supports bluetooth keyboards. It's not hard to imagine being able to work entirely out of one in ~5-7 years. #WWDC
