For all the crap that the #crypto community gets, they deserve at least one acknowledgement; At least most of the systems they build will succeed and fail based on their underlying value prop. The #AI bubble will be manipulated so much, and in ways that aren't nearly as transparent.

ZFS is a terrible choice for the average user, and even at enterprise scale, many of the issues with alternatives can be worked around for a net lower cost than ZFS provides. I'm sick of dealing with VDEVs.

@github.com you should allow private repos to set the single branch restriction on not merging to master/main without a PR for free accounts. the alternative is that I make duplicate repos and use a github app to sync them, which wastes more resources in the end.

It's absolutely amazing that people still think GNOME is worth developing. At every turn, KDE has more thoughtful interfaces and greater flexibility. QT's MOC is frustrating, but I'll take that over trying to force developers into a MacOS world view.
