sudden desire to rewatch the movie Beast Cops... iirc a mix of HK heroic bloodshed with what I imagine a Wong Kar-wai movie is like (having never seen one)... lots of crazy violence but also lots of bittersweet romance, a sort of melancholy atmosphere... beast? cops? beast cops.
