Today I deactivated my Facebook account. MAGA groups have been scouring profiles and looking for anti-maga posts. They then contact employers to get people fired. For me, loss of health care is a death sentence.

I think one of the biggest middle fingers we are getting from all of this, Is the guy who actively tried to interfere with an election, started a riot over not getting his way causing the injury of hundreds of cops, and got away with all of it. I don't mind a good healthy discussion or debating about something we disagree with. I have changed my mind quite a few times when I see that I'm wrong about something. But debates with people who are just trolling is not worth the effort. Discussions with folks who've been gaslighted are also bad.

I think I am going to try something new. I have waisted a lot of time in the past talking to Maga people. It's not worth the effort anymore. They live in an alternate reality narrated by Fox. So instead of engaging them, I am just going to block them as soon as I see the nonsense.

I think one reason I started here, is because I learned I can't really say what I want on FBook without upsetting all my friends and family. Most of the people I know are Trump Supporters. They are all good people. They have just been fooled by a con man.

I honestly thought that our economy would hold out for a year or so before we started seeing negative effects from Trumponomics. But with his Cabinet pics, and ridiculous announcements last week, I think we are going to be lucky if we make it until summer before we see a recession.
