Even he chuckles quietly. "Well, gives us more time to talk I guess."

The menu doesn't really make any fucking sense. It all kind of looks like gibberish. "I knew we shouldn't have trusted Wilford for this." He groans, head in his hands.

"𝙄 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙧 𝙮𝙤𝙪."

"Of course!" He gives a very nervous grin. Has he always been this nervous? Why is he overthinking EVERYTHING? "So. . uh, what are you gonna get?" He's so bad at this.

Wilford doesn't even notice anything off. But he absolutely does know. He walks off. "So uh, do you wanna go and accuse him after all this?" He gently squeezes her hand.

"Oh right. I guess so." He awkwardly chuckles. And right on time, here comes Wilford with the menus! "Speak of the devil." Wilford sets down the menus for both of them. Damien glances at Clary, nudging his head at Wilford.

"Heh, you better!" He snickers to himself. "But apparently, Wilford had shot the detective at the crime scene, and killed the District Attorney. . I'm not sure if the detective survived or not."

"𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝙉𝙀𝙀𝘿 𝗠𝗘!"

"Well last I saw of him, was when he was called the Colonel. And he was a great friend of mine, I guess he went crazy after I died." Damien isn't a murderer. Dark is. "Besides, I wouldn't kill anyone. Unless someone else was in danger of course. Like if you were in danger." Aw.

A slight red hue encompasses his face. "So uh. ." He clears his throat. "I learnt more things about Wilford's arrests, and I figured out WHY he was arrested." He takes a long pause. "It was for murder." WHAT.

"Right, of course." He chuckles softly, reaching out his hand, to grab her own gently. Ooh Mr. Mayor.

"Yes I am absolutely worried." Well at least Mr. Mayor is honest. Heh, Mr. Mayor.

Even Wilford teases Damien with the nickname, before walking off. "What? Meee. .? Noo. ." Dude you're sweating.

Wilford greets the two, he's somehow still able to wear the ridiculous pink wig, surprised nobody tried to take it from him. "How are you. . I just saw you at the. . you know what, I'm not even going to ask." Wilford proceeds to seat the two, still having a grin on his face.

And well, he opens the door for her, letting her in. And the waiter is. . . .WILFORD? "Oh no."

After a few moments of leading her, they have made it. To a. . actually nice looking restaurant. I keep forgetting this guy was the former mayor of the city. He's rich.

"Alright, let me just pull up the location. ." Oh, this guy. "Okay, just follow me!" He extends out his hand.

Wilford gives Damien another pat on the shoulder, before walking away. "I hate him sometimes." He then notices Clary, a slight smile appearing on his face. "Hey, you look nice!" Damien goes for. . a handshake? You guys are already friends. There's no need to-- ah, forget it.

Yeah, his reflection did seem to be more. . like Dark. But it should be fine. Damien seems fine, so everything must be fine. Damien waits outside, his mind racing. Wilford suddenly shows up, startling Damien. He pats Damien's shoulder, telling him he's got this. "Wilford. Shut it."

He takes a quick bow, before rising up just as quickly. "Thank you, thank you!" He snickers quietly. "I'll just. . let you get ready." He proceeds to walk out of the room, walking past a mirror-- wait. That wasn't his reflection.

After a good few minutes, Damien walks out of the room he was in previously. Wearing that damn suit he wore during those events. He's trimmed his hair, which actually isn't a bad look. He chuckles to himself, grabbing the cane, spinning it around for a moment, before presenting himself. "So?"

"Mr. Mayor, I'm surprised I haven't been called that yet." He chuckles to himself. "I'll be ready in just a second." He zips off, he should definitely cut that long hair.

"Yeah I figured you say no-- wait, you didn't say no." She didn't exactly say yes either, idiot. "You know what, I'll definitely impress you. You know, since I 𝘸𝘢𝘴 the mayor of the city." Damien.

He's thinking of many ways to say this, but also the many ways she could respond. "Uh, Clary. ." You got it. "Do you. . wanna. ." C'mon man, spit it out. You're pushing your luck! "Do you wanna go on a date?" THERE WE GO!

"Well uh, how do I say this. ." Damien. Lock in. He stops forward a little, glancing at the suit he picked. And his cane of course.

Oh goodness, how badly he wants to say, 'yeah, you'. Thankfully he doesn't, not yet at least. "Uhh. ." "I guess?" DAMIEN.

"I. . uh." He briefly turns to look at her. ". .No reason." With an awkward chuckle, he goes back to searching, eventually finding the damn suit. "There it is!"
