2024 summary

Update! When all else fails, plug in the ethernet cable. I also turned off the data saver option as well and that seems to have resolved the issue with the roku unit. Now I just need to do the same for my folks' tv. Here's hoping that it fixes it for them all well.

I just finished setting up my roku so that we can watch spectrum tv and after 5 minutes or so the audio will desync. I have tried every setting i could find to fix this problem, to no avail. Does anyone have a solid fix for this issue?

My references vs my latest work in progress. Honestly, not much has changed since my last update, but I have been experimenting with layers and blending options.

Using layers has been by far the most liberating tool in this entire process. Want to make small changes without altering the overall image ? NEW LAYER!

Perhaps one of my favorite features of bluesky is that when you open the app, it doesn't automatically rubber band you to a refreshed timeline. I can't tell you how many times I got a glimpse of something I wanted to look at closer, only for it to disappear a second later.
