I've been seriously considering picking up Cyberpunk for Switch 2 & I think this thread has convinced me it's time. I played through it at launch on Xbox Series X, but admittedly rushed through it & took them up on the offer of a full refund. I'm excited to play it again & see all the little things!

I've been saying it for years but framerate > resolution till I die. The Switch 2 is going to be that perfect sweet spot for me I feel.

Okay, 2 weeks later and I've softened my stance a little bit. I do like a good bit of the new canon. It just feels like they ought to have picked out the best of the old EU and brought it into canon. Stuff like the Plagueis novel, KOTOR era stories, etc. I understand not wanting the post ROTJ stuff.

We are certainly all entitled to our opinions, but I feel like there has got to be a middle ground between "Shenmue is the most influential game of all time" (it's not) and "Shenmue wasn't influential" (it was). I do agree that a public vote is not the way to go here though.

Hot take: 4K60 is plenty for me. I can see the difference between 60 and 120, but to me, it's not significant enough to matter. 30 to 60 is a massive difference, 60 to 120 is very minimal. Maybe once I build a PC this will change? Doubt it. But Switch 2 is about to be my main platform for suuuure.

Been playing KOTOR through Xbox back compat. Currently setting up KOTOR 2 with a full suite of mods on my Steam Deck so it's ready to go when I finish the first game! (KOTOR1 doesn't have controller support on PC and while you can mod it in, by all accounts it doesn't work the same way as console)

As a family that has two Switches and soon to be a third when Switch 2 comes out, this is the biggest announcement from today's direct. Awesome feature!
