Having just gone through a job search myself, I found myself nodding along pretty much the whole way. I also only saw one application that mentioned being able to opt out of AI, and it not affecting the status of the application. It makes me wonder how some of the application sites work re: AI.

It's crazy how little things make me realize that I'm leaving soon. Realizing that it might be my last ride of the Metro, last time seeing a landmark in person (at least for a while), stuff like that. I guess I'm sentimental. 😢 I'm even thinking of taking some pics of the house before we go.

Whew, made it back home. Well, at least what will be home for a few weeks longer... Got forms filled out and got us set with our temporary housing, so things are moving apace! Now to stuff things into boxes as quickly as possible!

Traveling the rest of the week. It's pretty much the worst time to be gone right now with all the packing we have to do, but it has to be done. But man, it's going to be cold in Michigan! Really not looking forward to that.

Today was pretty much my last day of work (on sick leave until the actual day). I didn't want to make a big thing of it, so I basically just bye to people as I saw them. Much easier than a big party that would've messed with my emotions.

Not happy with the way that game turned out, but it was a good, not great, season. The young offense showed good improvement (that didn't show today), but we'll have to see what comes about with the defense, especially the d-line. We've been building for next year, so make those leaps! #GoBlue

Man, yesterday was such an exhausting day. Instead of watching the Michigan game, I had to deal with a dead battery for our only car while my wife stressed out about it, then she decided it was time for a goodwill donation run. And the worst part is I missed the game winning FG!

I'm really liking the behind the offense cam that they've used a bit in this broadcast. We got a great view of that Marshall cut that set up the TD. It gives you such a better appreciation for it. #GoBlue

One of our cats isn't eating well and has been getting sick a little bit. Vet thinks he might need different food, something for sensitive stomach. He's got to go back tomorrow since he's only doing a bit better since his last appointment on Monday. Good thing we have insurance for him!

Man, I forgot how much I dislike doing yard work. Especially taking care of leaves in the lawn. But I can't deny that it's really good exercise. I'm so physically tired after two days of yard work.

Man, there's so much to do and not enough energy to do it all! Also, I really don't want to have to do it all. Moving is way too much work.

We actually got trick-or-treaters this year! The past few years we only gotten a handful plus a couple of my daughter's friends. But this year, we got into the double digits! Something like 15 kids came by! I guess we'll see how we do in the new place next year...

Disappointed that the #RedWings lost tonight's game. Giving up two goals in the span of a minute (albeit against 6 skaters) is just so bad. Gotta win some defensive draws. Then a penalty in OT leads to a PP goal. Hope they can bounce back tomorrow.

It's weird that it's almost midnight and there's no baseball on. After last night, I'm expecting baseball to be on 24/7 now.

I hate not getting paid, but I have to say this shutdown came at a good time to get some stuff done that we need to do in preparation for a move. And also, I've been able to pick up my daughter from school every day. That's been fun (although she hates it because we walk home). 😂

I've tried playing Arc Raiders this weekend, and I think I have to conclude that it isn't for me. I'm way too much of a hoarder to ever really jive with an extraction shooter, I think. I was having fun, but I think it's just too much tension for me.
