Almost 20 years ago, my sister was adopted into our family. Luckily we know about her bio family. When they were born, 7 out of 8 of their great grandparents were alive. 2 out of 16 of their 2x great grandparents were alive. One of their 3x great grandma died only 10 years before they were born.
