Satoru stood there, watching her begin to storm off and cuss at him with vivid intensity that left him… confused. Why is this such a big deal for her? From what she had told him, it seemed like Utahime was simply heading home and got sulky over her shoe breaking, then the rain. However…

He got some fireworks to blow up when the year rounds!

Satoru chuckled and leaned back on the bench, one leg crossed over the other in his usual posture as he drank the hot chocolate. “Well, good for you then. I wasn’t gonna buy you another one.” A little jest, because he would if Inumaki asked. He knew that the boy wouldn’t ask, though.

“I knooow right! You’re like a tragic heroine.” Satoru cooed and crunched the empty plastic package between his palms. “And I am the merciful villain that shall help you.” Gojo Satoru? Cleaning up snow? Less likely than you think. But he couldn’t help but take pity on poor Nobara.

“The hell are you doing here? Everyone was looking for you.” In which @songofkyoto.bsky.social missed a meeting, and no one knew the reason why. It was raining outside. Satoru didn’t expect to find Utahime to far from the Kyoto school, after being tasked with looking for her.

He didn’t! She’s giving herself too much credit, as if she was worth as much as a fraction of his attention. A weakling like her doesn’t last a day inside his head, thoughts of Utahime are as fleeting as their time together. And yet, Satoru can’t help but mull it over impassively as he stirs.

When Inumaki returned, the stoic look on Satoru’s face dissolved into that easygoing expression. He tucked his phone away, one in which he was previously texting on. “Four and twenty five~” If he had counted or if he’s just spouting out random numbers, it’s unknown. Regardless, Gojo seems pleased.

“Tch, says you who takes everything personally. Don’t give me that.” Satoru huffed and grabbed his spatula with determination. He was above this, he will prove to her that he can make the best gingerbread men ever. Not because he needs her approval, but purely out of spite. “Alright I got it.”

“Weeeell you see, I know I put off training, but I didn’t call you all here for nothing!” Satoru began, his head lulling to the side as he chewed another gummy. “Someone has to clean up the snow outside.” Nobara can probably already guess where this is going…

“Granted! As long as they can walk and punch by the end of it.” Satoru grinned and shoved another gummy into his mouth. Shoko is going to kill him, but Nobara’s probably not going to do any major damage anyways. “Though, due to their absence I have some unfortunate news for you.”

Satoru did notice, even if he didn’t show it. He is very perceptive after all, besides the times where he would catch Inumaki training by himself when moving between shifts. It makes his dream feel more within reach, so Satoru is more than pleased to see it. “Hmmm.”

“Even Megumi is not answering his phone….” There sat Satoru, long legs sprawled out as he snacked away in the lounge. Nobara was bored, and somehow, he was too. They were meant to train today, however the excessive snow got in the way. “I think they ditched us.”

“PAAAAASS-U!” Satoru shouted with enthusiasm, and then strikes a pose to exacerbate it even more. “That’s right! These little guys love crowds, they’ll attach themselves to people and leech off of their negativity until satisfied. Maaan such a pain!” He grasped the thing between his digits.

“Oho, already?” Satoru mused, appraising the catch with a large smile on his face. He had picked out this specific curse to test Inumaki’s skills on tracking cursed energy remnants, and needless to say the boy performed as expected. Perhaps a bit more than so. “Where did you find it?”

“Stop telling me what to do!” Satoru groaned over his shoulder at her, yet continued to do exactly as she said, only because he is tired of this agreement himself. Cookies be damned, Utahime is too overbearing. The man made sure the butter doesn’t burn, then set it aside for later.

Oh Utahime, she looked as disastrous as the kitchen around them. Meanwhile, Satoru looked like he he was the host of their mockery of a cooking show, pristine with not a single hair out of place. Hell, even his blindfold remained perfectly unstained, it was some sort of witchcraft.
