Still digging out of a deep depression clutter-clusterfuck. Apparently, it started around December 2022 because I just found a nice new coffee grinder I bought then and never took out of the box. I thought it lasted about a year, but it was at least two. :-(

My house isn't exactly clean since I still have some decluttering to finish when my back doesn't hate me *quite* so much, but the cleaners were here for the first time in two months and it feels SO GOOD.

My TV remote has been missing for like a year. I've looked under every cushion on my couch multiple times. I just reached between the cushions to pull something else out and BAM! There's my remote! WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK WHY IS MY COUCH GASLIGHTING ME??? 😂

While doing a lot of cleaning and decluttering this weekend, I set the cat carrier on top of a suitcase forgetting how much my weirdo cat loves hanging out in it. Georgie made more of an effort to get up there than he usually makes to get to his dinner!

After dinner, Buttercup acts like a maniac until I ask her if she wants snuggles, at which point she runs to my bed. We snuggle and play until she settles in to sleep. My dog has trained me to put her down for a nap. 💜

Two days ago I bought 2032 batteries because I needed them. Today I cleared out a doom box that had...you guessed it...a fresh back of 2032 batteries. Seriously, how did it take me this long to realize I had #ADHD? This is 100% the story of my freaking life! 🤣

This is so painfully accurate and the reason I've spent the last month cleaning/ rearranging my entire house to make everything about "point of performance". My goal is to have things where I need to use them so I don't have to hunt for them.

Slowly but surely digging out from depression/ADHD-fueled clutter, got almost 6K steps in the process today. Figuring out that I have ADHD has totally changed how I think about organization and cleaning. Yay progress, and maybe next time I backslide I'll know to be nicer to myself about it.
