And finally, I present Light’s Last II! Inspired by the sunset over about a half an hour on a single trip out. The sky and its reflection on the water changed from bright and fiery to dark and rich as the waves from the wind and our wake calmed and the evening progressed. #fineart #woodcut #sunset

I have a vivid memory of sitting in my Grandma’s kitchen watching her peal apples. As she worked, she created long, unbroken curls. It was magic. Today as I carved around the delicate power lines on this woodcut, I could not help but think of my grandma. Maybe magic is inherited! #woodcut #magic

It’s not often I get to use a handsaw to remove a whole section of a printing block! The sky imagery is already printed and since it doesn’t overlap any other parts of the print, I was able to make quick work of it with the right tool! #woodcut #printmaking #fineart #artprocess
