I can't quite put into words what it's like to visit Ocean Shores, WA. The Pacific is clearly the highlight but the town is incredibly sad. Case in point, the Shilo Inn (pictured). You can tell it was a gem in the 80s; now it's a haunting echo. No soul or energy. This applies to the town in general.
