Masked government agents are killing people in the streets, abducting people from their homes in the middle of the night, and arresting those who speak out. If this were happening in another country, what would you call it?

Medicare for All - "That's socialism!" Social Security - "That's socialism!" Debt free education - "That's socialism!" Universal childcare - "That's socialism!" Billions for ICE, refurbishing Trump's Qatar jet, and tax cuts for the rich... "That's just how it is."

The minimum wage went up in 19 states this month — but the federal minimum wage has been stuck at a paltry $7.25 an hour since 2009. Guess how much the wage would be today if it kept up with worker productivity over the years?

ICE agents have shot at least nine other people just since September, killing one. Under Trump, this violence is rewarded with fat bonuses and student loan forgiveness — while nurses, teachers, and everyone else struggles to get by. We must never become numb to his cruelty.
