More than 1,000 “ICE out” rallies planned across the U.S. today. NYC: chanting the name Renée Good. Signs reading “Abolish ICE.” A sign even calling for Trump to be put in jail. Anti-ICE marches are making it clear, people are done being scared, done being erased, done pretending this is normal.

It's also absurd to see so many agents being sent to other states for political stunts, rather than pursuing felony crimes in their home states. I yet again demand that the federal government return our DEA agents to Arizona so we can more aggressively go after the Mexican drug cartels.

As Arizona’s top law enforcement officer, I want to remind all federal agents of my expectations for them in our state: respect the law, do not mask, de-escalate violence when possible and stay OUT of schools, hospitals, and churches.

This week, we have seen the escalations of violence by ICE agents in Minneapolis and Portland, including the horrific shooting of Renee Nicole Good. It is outrageous that state and local law enforcement independent investigations are not being supported by the feds.

In #Flagstaff, I counted about 600 anti-ICE protesters at one point. More came and went on a cold, gusty day. Good response from passing cars.
