I love to read in bed. Some days I can't keep my eyes open, but I sure give it my best try. I often wake up early and read in bed until it's time for the alarm.

It's not about luxury—the simple things mean the most and give the most long-lasting pleasure.

My favorite part of the day is when I finally get to put my compute away and say... it's TIME TO READ!

For years, my husband didn't believe he was a reader. Then one day he found the book that sparked his enjoyment of reading, and now we share books and have fantastic conversations.

Books wait for us at the end of the longest days, greet us gently after sleepless nights, and hold our place patiently until we can return. They always have something new to show us and quiet lessons waiting to be learned.
