After working more than eleven years in indie publishing, I can attest this is true. No matter if a book isn't for you, there's a reader out there that will enjoy it. What is a book you love that you wish others would read?

Stop, drop, and read! Happy D.E.A.R. Day! Beverly Clearly brought the day to popularity when she added it to her book 𝘙𝘢𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘢 𝘘𝘶𝘪𝘮𝘣𝘺, 𝘈𝘨𝘦 𝟪 in 1981. She did not originally create the day, her inclusion sparked popularity until it was adopted as a well-loved tradition on April 12th...her birthday!

The hard part about getting a new book is the lure of wanting to open it when we should be sleeping. Sometimes I hesitate to start one too late in the day so I am not tempted. Do you prefer staying up late to read or reading during the day?

Happy National Pet Day! Started in 2006, it's a day meant to celebrate the joy our pets provide us while also calling attention to the need for more animals being adopted from the shelters. Many of us have animal reading buddies. I'd love to see some of yours!

The math here is mathing correctly. The firm answer is not enough books! How many unread books do we need in order to have enough?

As a reader, I can step through the pages of a book and become anything!

When going on a trip, our priorities need to start with how many books we might need. It's always better to have too many than not enough. If you were going to be gone a week, how many books would you need?

Books turn reality into Wonderland. They allow us to live out our wildest dreams from the depths of our imaginations.

If you ask me to go shopping, I'm going to assume that you mean stopping for books will be on the agenda. So the question is...do you want to go to the bookstore then stop at a cafe for a tasty beverage and a snack?

Can we go days without reading? Of course. Do we enjoy the days we read a bit more? Definitely!

Let's face it, book sniffing is a pretty fantastic way to enjoy the aroma of those magical pages. And we, the book nerds, demand more!
