Didn’t want to get out of bed this morning but Cardiff delivered with this golden glow.

Last night’s book swap at Scaredy Cats. Went in determined not to bring anything home (for once) with a TBR pile as long as my arm, but couldn’t resist the temptation of a nostalgic Jaqueline Wilson reread. Really good, Actually & Notes on Heartbreak were my contributions and both great reads.

Brilliant launch of Women in Public Affairs Wales today full of super talented women. The consensus was that we’ve come a long way but women still face challenges in the sector. An important reminder of how important collaboration, support & networks really are.
