To me, a screenreader pausing for purely positional and/or stylistic span tag in RFL or FXL EPUB is a bug. But the bug is in the screen reader, not the file. That fact that the issue is not heard with JAWS but only with NVDA seems to confirm this is an NVDA bug. github.com/nvaccess/nvd... #eprdctn
