I always do my best work when I have Moxie cuddled up next to me while I paint.

The list of tabletop games I want to play is quite short (40k, AOS, MCP.) but the list of games with minis I want to paint is astronomical.

Our house has a toilet that needs replacing badly, an AC unit that needs fixing, a pantry ceiling that leaks when it rains, and a garbage disposal that needs to be replaced. It's a lot of little things, but they add up, and I have no idea how to cover all of them.

I may have mental health issues, my nerves might be on fire, my skin might be turning into goddamned dinosaur scales, and I may not be able to walk more than like a handful of steps without wanting to pass out from pain, but despite all of that I'm a fucking delight.

People need to cool the hell off and stop putting creators on pedestals. That way they don't go into toxic asshole mode the second the creator says or does something they perceive to be wrong, past or present.

They never said anything about it at the shelter, but I'm starting to suspect Vibe has some equilibrium problems. He does a weird head bob thing once in a while, and he has a habit of rolling off of surfaces he's laying on. Either that or he's incredibly dumb.

Well, getting overheated and sick wasn't on my checklist for today.

hearing feedback from fans in the theater, the joy and laughter, and the tears that flowed during the Digital Circus finale, I'd say it hit the mark. I hope the team is genuinely proud of what they've created and the effect it's had on fans. It's truly the vocal minority causing the problems online

I feel very...bleh about most of the new game trailers and reveals. It all just feels so meh to me? Sure there's a couple of good games in there, but a good amount of it just feels like uninspired sequel, uninspired soulslike, another fps, or uninspired remake.

I've tried not to make the biggest deal out of it in the world, but I've been in and out of hospitals, ERs and doctors frequently for the last few weeks/months. I'm finally back to something resembling normal, but it's been incredibly rough on me physically and mentally.

My oldest cat, Chloe, recently turned 9. Of all of our cats, she's MY cat. (Basically, every family member has a kitty.) She used to be the spiciest one, but I just never took her crap, and she wound up being an ultimate loyal sweetheart of a girl. I love this kitty.

If you're in the OH area, you should really trek up to the Cuyahoga Falls area and come play Gundam with me at our local FLGS on Tuesday nights! There are reasons! 1.) Gundam is fun 2.) The store is great 3.) You get to hang with me! (Which might be a deal breaker but hey.)

I now have a set of puncture wounds in my thigh perfectly in the shape of a cat paw.

I hope once Armageddon comes out, I actually use it to PLAY rather than just paint it up, get intimidated and just end up throwing it all on a shelf. Also, GW has a lot of balls asking $295 for this. But I can't think of a better way to get started with Orks for 11th.

I'm incredibly happy and grateful I got to get out and play in the Flesh and Blood pre release today. I had fun trying out the new heroes (Aurora 4 lyfe!) quite a bit. Now I get to be home and hurt a bit. I'm not back to full health yet and today proved it. Totally worth it though.

I've spent most of the afternoon sleeping, because recovering makes one do that. Dragging me out of the house for a recital was a given, but good gravy did it kick my arse.

Today is my wedding anniversary! I've managed to be married a whole 17 years now. That's wild yo.

We're at a dance recital for our foster kiddo, and while I fully support his interests, this place is full of some truly truly awful parents and is a world of people I have no desire to know.

So when I get Armageddon, I'll definitely be keeping the Ork half. The Blood Angel half? I'm gonna paint it up for my "portfolio" as it is and sell it. So if anybody is going to want it keep an eye out. :)

After being forced to mostly stay home while I recover, I'm beginning to go back to that mindset of "man, life was so much simpler when I was just a shut-in who painted all the time." And I'm not sure I disagree with it.
