First job of the afternoon was to plant out my three Erica Albert’s Gold in the front garden and my second job will be to add manure to the surface of my rear borders and mix in, tidying anything that needs it along the way. Whatever you’re up to enjoy! #gardening #gardeninglife

Good afternoon everyone. Did my gym workout first thing then came home and unexpectedly started watching Sonay Kartal’s tennis match. She played brilliantly and beat the No 4 seed Andreeva. Now off out to add manure to the rear borders. #gardening #gardeninglife

My little Growhouse currently housing white and peach foxgloves, Sugar Rush wallflowers and white hesperis growing on ready for planting out shortly. I sowed them a bit late but I’m hoping they’ll do ok once planted out and flower well in late Spring/Summer. #gardening #gardeninglife

Finished off by adding manure and blood, fish and bonemeal and mixing it all in. Now there’s a gap waiting to be filled by something easier to handle going forward. It will likely be bulbs in the first instance. #gardeninglife #gardening

Just spent an hour removing a rambling rose, a clematis Armandii and removing half isn’t a ‘creeping’ Sorbaria from the White border. It’s all part of my plan to make the garden more easily manageable as I age. It was definitely a gardening #workout #gardening #gardeninglife
