Sometimes you don't feel inspired or into drawing that day. Went out to Ballard Sketch Team on Tuesday and made myself commit to some output. This rough and imperfect thing was the result.

Sinners never forgets it’s a horror movie. Padding the genre w/ historical world building & characterization to give it weight. blending music in a way that reminds us of its community and cultural significance. It also gives us a great villain. An ingredient so hard to get right. Highly recommend.

Beautiful spring hike on the Lower Big Quilcene Trail. We traveled up Camp Jolly at the 5.1 mile marker. The river and streams were flowing with unreal clarity. Saw some deer, birds, and old growth cedars towering over head. No sounds of civilization were hear deep in the valley.

This story trailer directed by Alberto Mielgo for the video game Marathon is gorgeous. Not my type of game play wise. But they pulled no stops on getting him onboard and his style is perfect for the otherworldly and futurist design elements of Marathon.

Long day at work that started at 7 am that led to rushing to cook dinner before running to catch Prison Affair (Barcelona). surprised to see a very large and youthful crowd with a fun swirling pit. Great band live with a real unique guitar lead to the punk beats that mix thunder w/ tight rhythms.

Stressful days on the work front due to the state of the world. But glad I got to play D&D with good people tonight, do art, and got to see the band Folk Implosion in a small venue. It gave the stage banter and songs a personal touch. I still think album Take A Look Inside is lofi perfection.
