It’s back to flower time……this time from Whole Foods and Costco. The roses already look like they’re on their way out. Let’s see how they fare.

The last batch of flowers lasted only 9 days. That’s may be a couple days short of their normal vase life They’ve been picked apart and re-vased up with those that survived, along with a fresh batch just bought.

Costco Flowers anyone….. Today’s supply of roses wasn’t up to par. So I stuck with two wildflower arrangements.

Somewhere in heaven, she’s probably looking down at all my Indian outfit purchases and muttering under her breath….. A$$hole…you couldn’t wear these clothes when I was alive huh 😕☹️🙃🙄😣

So Delta rows/seats on this flight go from rows 1-3 then 10 thru the end. 🤦‍♀️🤔 I thought I’d forgotten to count when trying to look for my row. What happened to rows/seats 4 thru 9?

Today was pre-wedding walkthrough. Just the walkthrough with ZERO “peopling” was exhausting. Not sure I want to know yet…what the wedding day is going to be like. Definitely not ready for this part of my life.

And the fix is in and water has been turned back on.

UTTER chaos ensues. Water supply pipe was “nicked” last evening…..so we shut down water for last night as the only vendor (Ferguson) that sells the pipe fixture to repair this kinda pipe nick was closed for the day. Fun times. A few years ago….I would have blown a gasket…today….its MEH…

I think I’m going to do the same thing this evening.

Yesterday it was 84 degrees out. The house was 80 degrees inside. So I turned the A/C on. Today it’s 55 degrees out. And yeah…the heat goes back on for what looks like an incoming cold spell. 🙄😩🤦‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

I have asked one of the ladies who helped with our closet cleanup, to also help delve into 20 years worth of family albums and pick out photos that will then be tiled in the manner shown on this staircase wall. Updates to follow

With the help of three friends, our closet is now emptied out of all her clothes. This will help a great deal in moving forward.

Every time I need to mail a parcel out, I look for masking tape. And every time I never find it. But when I’m in the middle of doing something else…I will stumble upon it and make a mental note of where it is….only to forget this mental note…the next time I need to use it for mailing a package. 😩😩😩

There is no going back. The in-memoriam cards as well the letter detailing why we’re severing all contact, has been mailed. I can finally breathe easier now.

A few hours ago, I received news that a priest who was parish priest of the church we used to be members of, lost his battle to pancreatic cancer. He received treatment at the same clinic where my wife had her infusions and she used to stop by his chair each time she saw him in the clinic.

Valentines Day flower prices are gonna be through the roof. Those on here who were expecting flowers from me….I’m gonna take a hard pass this year LOL 😝🤣🫢😘

When I told Anita this in the beginning of 2021…that this decade would be an extremely difficult decade for us boomers, because of aging parents, I had her father and my mother in mind. I never in a million years imagined that she would also not live to see the next decade. That’s the hard reality.
