Today’s grabs from my local comic shop. Was just thinking the other day about going back and getting the modern Monsterbots, so pretty convenient that they had Twinferno/Doublecross. I also got Marvel Impactor to go with the Wreckers vs Mayhem display I’m setting up

Finally bought in to the KO Takara LG Fortress. Looks great, but I was supposed to get two (one was going to be used as a base for a custom RID01 Emissary to go with the Cerebros that came with Omega Prime) and the seller only sent the one. Already sent a message asking what’s up, kinda lame

Okay Blokees, I was unfamiliar with your game but am now intrigued. Death Tracker will find a new home since I’m confident a Studio Series one will happen eventually, but the cogless miners are great. Might even end up keeping Optimus, scarred D-16, and Sentinel as desk toys on my cocaine desk

Found a use for the blast effects that came with SS86 Ultra Magnus that I didn’t end up using on Magnus himself.

And now for the main event; Omega Prime himself! Wow. Just… wow. Bro is fkin huge in person, and the Matrix Blade is LONGGGGG. This might end up being my #1 get of the year, honestly. Its *that* good

Next up is Ultra Magnus. Is it weird to say that Bluebolts is my favorite part of Magnus? I love his super sentai-ish head, kinda reminds me of Power Rangers a bit

Optimus is so fkin cool man. Brings me back to 2001 when I got my original RID Optimus 🥹 (and yes, had to do the fix to prevent the ab piece from cracking. So far, no cracks and the ridges inside said were intact. Also missed that the arm panels slide up in core robot mode)

I get paid today, got my VA disability for the month, credit card finally paid down in full, having pizza for tonight, and opening this bad boi. It’s a good day to be me 😎

While waiting for the wife to finish her appointment at the hospital, ran some errands around town and picked this fella up for $30 at my local comic shop. Mainly got it for Nightstick, but a Cyclonus that doesn’t look like he’s smoked a pack a day everyday for the last decade is also a nice bonus!

Cleared out space to make room for HasLab Omega Prime. Decided to put my original pair in their alt modes and stick the original Car Brothers inside Ultra Magnus to maximize (heh) as much space as possible

Today’s haul. Bonecrusher comes courtesy of Hasbro Pulse, and Rom from me giving up finding him at local GameStops and just ordering him online

Got my back reset by the VA’s in-house chiropractor, stopped by the local comic shop on the way to get lunch, and walked out with this fella for $50. Tacos will be had in his honor 🫡

What a scrappin’ young lad, homie’s got a leg up on the competition, his charm is front loaded for all to see.

Before and after upgrade kit. Still wish DNA would’ve included the new thighs from their Ultra Magnus kit, and maybe include a new head for the core robot that calls back to TFCC Nova Prime, but it’s still a fantastic kit that solves some of the problems baked into the design!

Buddy on a Discord server I’m in sent me the most quality stress ball in existence. He also sent me Studio Series One Sentinel Prime along with it, who is great, but that’s besides the point

Would anyone be interested in buying a Titans Return Trypticon for $130 shipped? He is complete, and I personally fixed the hips when he first released. Brunt is not included, just the base package with him, Wipeout, and Wipeout’s Headmaster.

The Age of the Primes is in my house!

It’s been exactly a year ago today since my mom passed away, God rest her soul. It’s been a hard without her. I hope I’m doing right by her.

Finally, and disappointingly, was a pair of new wings for Starscream, complete with restored, functional folding wing sword. However, both wings snapped on me when trying to install them so I put the stock wings back on for now. At least the sword is bigger than the stock one 😕

Part two of the fourth party kits; light piping for Armada Megatron. Not nearly as vibrant as Optimus, but just enough that there’s a difference! In hindsight, should’ve gotten a second one for Galvatron too

Got some fourth party upgrade kits for my Legacy Armada guys. First up is Optimus with new light piped eyes! Before and after comparison (I had previously tried painting his super mode eyes red, hence why they can barely be seen)

Today’s gets; finally caught up on the G2 Stunticons, and BotCon 2009 Leozack (who will be repurposed as Leozack’s canonical twin sister Lyzack on my shelves) came about due to the recent size comparison of Siege Hound with the HasLab Liokaiser gang and me wanting a Lyzack lol

If I had a nickel for every Transformer I have that turned into a real vehicle I own or have owned previously, I’d have two nickels, which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it’s happened twice…

My FJ had a baby! eBay listing said it was black, it’s actually green. Not that big a deal honestly. All the green parts were on a sprue, so if I really wanted to, I could pop them off, paint them black, and pop them back on. I have no painting skills though, and I’m terrified to even try 😬

I actually got him last week, but I’ve been too busy to show him off. But in light of the recent news of Topspin getting a Diaclone repaint in the upcoming versus pack of him and Spinister, figured I’d backtrack and get Diaclone Twin Twist 🤷🏻‍♂️

Said a bittersweet goodbye to my Shitstang today. It’s been my valiant steed for the last six years, serving me well during my time in the Army and being driven all over the US on open roads. I did save one little part of it so I’ll always remember the good times I had with it 🥲
