Made a correction, based on this depiction of a Huastec based on Codex Fejervary-Mayer, which apparently depicts Tezcatlipoca and could very well be the Tohuenyo himself. I do feel the new bodypaint does balance out the overall illustration and compliments the Toltec princess's colorful headdress.

Caught between the Couple Yánel and Tzunún are Téenek (Huastec) nobles from Xiuhcoac located in present-day North Veracruz. Currently, Yánel is a concubine, and Tzunún is a bodyguard of Xochimazatl.
