I love how were going to see how Glinda stepped into the role of being The Good Witch before the time skip. The way she has this child-like wonder while playing with her bubble for the first time is so good.

The Wicked movies are a good example on how you do an adaptation. You keep the major plot points that are important to the story while adding new scenes that develop the characters.
