Work decided not to renew my contract citing productivity issues which is really stupid when all i did was haul between two facilities. Sounds more like an excuse to thin the herd. Now what am I supposed to do

the week from hell continues... my truck wouldn't start when I got back out to it and the shop looked at it before they closed, said one of the terminals snapped off inside one of the batteries and is shorting out internally. I'll get the battery replaced tomorrow when they open and that'll fix it

I miss my brother he was a big inspiration and support for me and now hes gone. I feel like im mentally collapsing. Like nothing I do matters anymore. I can’t get past the feeling that im all alone in my world now. Hopefully this will pass in time but its a deep state of mind and im shot to hell.

last 24 hours have me mentally drained. Had an accident yesterday, the trailer got off track while blind side backing into a spot and hit the truck in the next spot over. I Woke up this morning with a voicemail on my phone, my older brother passed away last night. :( i'm really gonna miss him.

I watched a little bit of the parade in DC and ya know what I saw? I saw some under appreacated military men and women having a good time, enjoying the attention and thanks they deserved. I saw smiles and waving as people showed appreacation. Everyone says Trump did this for himself.. I dunno.

i've been playing with thoughts in my head about expectations of those I meet online. Hoping for the best and wanting to make friends, even if we're a contenant away. I can't help but feel like i'm expecting more than I deserve though. What would anyone see in me after all?

i've been trying to deal with depression for a long time but it always seems to come back and hit ya when you least expect it to and for the silliest reasons. I get lonely and upset at things in life like anyone else can but it doesn't always make sense. Am I really that screwed up?

Well, my truck is STILL at the dealership getting repaired. it's been two weeks now since I dropped it off to them. Most of the repairs are completed but they found a leak in the roof and need to patch that up before I can get it back. Most likely from a seam so the body shop is working on it.

i've been saying for years that government is bloated and costing taxpayers money I can somewhat agree with the POTUS trimming back the hedges so to speak, it's honestly HOW he's doing it that has everyone up in arms. perhaps it could be done better but I agree that it had to be done sooner or later

just found out my brother had a massive heart attack and was brought back from the brink. he's doing mostly well but sore as can be expected, but I also found out my Niece passed away in her sleep the other night also. This isn't an easy start for the new year i'm afraid :(

Had a really relaxing weekend at WFCP. Got to see old & new friends and it was a casual and relaxing time away from the hustle n bustle of work. As much as I wish it woulda lasted longer, I have to get back out on the road tomorrow and will be out for the holidays. have a wonderful rest of the year!

ugh this sucks... I was sick all last week and supposed to go back on the road today but i'm still not feeling well. getting dizzy and just feel generally blehhed. hopefully I just need a couple more days to settle my system into normalcy.

I had to cancel my trip to #anthrocon2024 at the last minute. All my roomies bailed on me late last night and I couldn't get a spot in another room. Staying by myself was out of the question at a $1400 hotel bill. i'm going to be very upset this weekend and I apologize in advance

I Know I have friends who care about me, but sometimes getting that confirmation helps a lot. I just don't have that confirmation yet, and it hurts a lot. I need to get back to "normal" but it's going to take some time to heal before things get normal again. I just need some help.... just a little.

Depression sucks, but it's much worse when you don't have someone you can connect with to help you through rough times. I'm going through some very rough times lately and feel abandoned by almost everyone. It's not an easy thing to just get up and do something when you don't have the willpower :(
