How do you know when an #abstract #artwork is done? How do you know where to start? Do you feel your way through the process? What about inner monologue or critic? Finding it difficult to start, and once I do, I don't know when to stop. Stopping early feels like not enough, stopping late ruins it.

#drawing babies helps me to approach gently. spiritual icons draw out my confliction. trying to find my way to peace

tried some #digitalart with a free phone app. no AI. just adding/subtracting with a few simple tools. i'm curious how many artists enjoy their process in contrast to reaching a final result. i'm getting older, slowing down, and fearful of stepping out of my familiar style and visual language.
