Just finished The Hunger of the Gods by John Gwynne. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT take a drink every time he says “thought-cage”. Great action sequences and a magic system akin to an adult, Norse version of Percy Jackson. My main complaint, not a ton of character growth. 3.5/5 📚💙🪐 #booksky

Finished book 10 of the year. Calamity by Brandon Sanderson. Ending of the Reckoners trilogy. Thoroughly enjoyed, but I wish the ending had been drawn out a bit more. 4 stars. Next book: The Shadow Rising by Robert Jordan 🪐💙📚

I’ve been doing my re-read of the Stormlight Archive on my way to work as an audiobook for the past several months. I’ve got about half of Rhythm of War left. That means in the next day and a half, I need to listen to roughly 600 pages of material to be ready for Wind and Truth on Thursday.
