You know you're making progress in your tournament game when you're thinking about your own shots hours after its done about to go to bed and you're all like "damn that was a sick shot."

Ugh, I have an 800 and 808 round from last year that won't age out of my player rating for another two months. But if I play a few more sanctioned rounds above my rating in the next two months, my rating could jump a good bit. There's a couple events I have my eye on coming up

Feeling pretty decent. Some players are shooting really hot in MA3. MA3 is a really interesting sometimes because yeah, its Usually the lowest division, but also the top 40% will shoot anywhere 25-50 above their rating. It's a big of a slog in terms of feelings of improvement.

I got to play one of the courses I'm playing in the 48th Waterloo Classic, and got to look at around half of the other one. The layouts are pretty fun, I feel pretty good about my chances, but I gotta say, it does feel a little odd playing on a golf course.

I didn't do much today other than watch disc golf But that's because next weekend is my next big tournament and I know I won't have a lot of pure downtime during the weekend. Plus this week is going to be practice time after work every day besides Thursday. So, worth it.

I got out earlier than my partner again. I usually pick her up, luckily I had my discs today. Decided "ah fuck it I should just try some forehands." (I only use them unless absolutely necessary within ~125ft) Thought I figured out something crucial but then my timer went off🫠

Disc golf is cool because you can get good at a really cool particular throw and then all of the sudden the next weekend you can play you can't throw that special throw anymore so you have to find it again
