Studio Ghibli is the best, so glad I was able to catch Spirited Away in theaters earlier tonight. Absolutely magical experience that resonates with me a lot as a young adult currently processing a lot of change in their life and learning how to navigate that

Really glad I went to go see 100 Meters at the movie theater tonight. I've been feeling a bit down lately, but this film pumped me up and reminded me not just why I love sports anime, but also what the beauty is in giving it your all as you sprint towards your goals

Went to go see the 4K restoration of Perfect Blue tonight and it's just as phenomenal as I remember, if not more so. This film is my golden standard of psychological horror and I'm very glad I finally had the opportunity to see it in theaters

Beat the final boss of Symphony of the Night in about 3 seconds lmao As much fun as the game is, the scaling of some enemies and items can be exceptionally silly at times. Glad to have finally beaten my first Castlevania game, though!

I've been playing the flash version of Binding of Isaac the last few days and while it's been fun, I think it has a tendency to punish the player a bit too often for simply not being fortunate enough to pull decent items or favorable room layouts.

I'm so out of the loop with anime lately that I had no idea there was an original airing this season from the creator of Non Non Biyori and the director of its adaptation. Might check out Food for the Soul sometime soon if I can get myself to actually watch something for a change

Started playing Expedition 33 a couple days ago and it's been an absolute blast so far. Can't wait to see where this game goes

Returning back to Oblivion every now and then always feels like I'm revisiting home, in a sense. Other than World of Warcraft, this was easily the game I was the most captivated by whenever I was younger and I still have such a blast playing it

Gonna try to give Heike Monogatari another watch before I go see The Colors Within in a couple weeks. As of now, it's Yamada's only project that doesn't really do anything for me and I want to see if that'll change

Soremachi has been such a blast to read so far, I haven't laughed out this frequently while reading a manga since I caught up with Yotsuba

I think I'm going to try making a media thread for 2025; don't think I'll include absolutely everything on there if I don't have much to say about them, but I'd at least like to do it for everything that leaves an impression on me since I'd like to write more about what I'm interested in!

On my last Witch Hat Atelier fanart, someone said the swirling design reminded them of Van Gogh's Starry Night, so I thought why not go all out? I updated SAI and created new Impressionist brushes. I'm super happy with these brushes and look forward to painting lots of landscapes and skies~

Started today off by feeling a lot more lethargic and sluggish than usual, but I forced myself to exercise and do other productive tasks despite how much I wanted to spend most of my day off doing nothing. I'm proud of myself considering how hard it's been to motivate myself to do anything lately

As October comes to a close, I'm preparing to watch my final film of the horror movie marathon I've been doing all month long for Halloween. I watched 33 horror films this month and while I'm not sure if I'd make a monthly commitment like this again, I had fun! Hope y'all have a great Halloween!

I was far too harsh on Dark Souls 2 the first time around. There's a lot that I've come to appreciate about it now that I'm playing through the game a second time, even if it's fairly rough around the edges
