First set of GCSE results under my HOD role this Thursday. Tad nervous. I'm taking the long term view of dept improvement, but we did some rapid raising achievement work too for this cohort, so just hoping it has made the difference. Lots of lessons learnt this year. Anyone else nervy?! #ukmathschat

This is fab. I think the nuance here is so important - I think open conversations with students about their 'estimates' means they know that effort is the most important factor.
