In the first draft, I'm good with traveling 10,000 words and backing up 9,000 if I arrive at my destination. This is my first book as a plotter with significant backstory in the rearview, but I'm hitting guardrails and riding gutters when this pantser wants to veer offroad. #5amwritersclub
