Oh right, I make stuff. Glowing sword in progress based on a growing author's work. Still testing paint coating but I think I found good one way mirror trick. My last one way mirror trick didn't entirely go to plan.

I think I made a bunch of League of Legends Kaenic Rookern for my friend's Ambessa cosplay. Made some kind of glowing stones anyway. Didn't come out 100% the way I wanted but I ran out of time to fiddle with it.

Almost done with this weird ass pauldron for my Auron cosplay. Still need to add the bolts for detail n all that.

Shout out to that time I made Zelda's Twilight Princess sword for a commission and someone at USPS fucking stole it, sending my customer random underwear. It wasn't a box mix up. The customer got the box I sent, just without the sword. Just random panties of unknown origin. Still salty about it.

A magic book cosplay prop based on Doctor Fate's book from Injustice 2. I'm fixing to make more of these soonish but with some obvious improvements. Like the holographic trick will trigger when the book is open.

My wife as Urbosa from Zelda Breath of the Wild. Everything except the wig and crown here was made by me. Turns out hair is largely beyond my abilities so Arisu crafts on IG handled that. The crown is actually partially built in which is why I didn't use my own. Gotta redo the sword and shield again

Nother led power cosplay prop, this one inspired more by a Street Fighter Hadouken than anything else. We're not going to talk about how long this took to design for a pretty basic shape. But it's 3d printed TPU so with acrylic posts for the hand attachment. Normal LiPo battery on the inside.

Sometimes I make fire. I don't remember what prompted this particular cosplay prop. Probably a commission. There is plate on the interior for grip with the power switch near the thumb. As per usual there's a lipo in there somewhere along with an arduino nano controlling the lights.

My office coffee looks like wonka water. The coffee itself pretty thin so I added some creamer despite historically preferring black. I don't think this is an improvement.

I love Dragon Ball. I know it's silly, I know it's dumb, I know there are 22 minute episodes of screaming and glowing, I don't care. I've always wanted to a Dragon Ball cosplay that didn't require 3 years of gym planning and then Hit came along in Dragon Ball Super. So I cosplayed Hit.

Back in the "Oh right, I make stuff" category this is an energy blast cosplay prop I make. It was very much inspired by the DragonBall Ki blasts but it's been used for a lot of other characters. I'll probably make a couple more for sake soonish.

Yet more villian cosplay. This time the 1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turles movie Shredder. I need to revisit this one. Trouble is the fabric I used has been entirely discontinued. Also fun fact, that Shredder mask was my day to day Covid mask. Minimizes contamination from viruses and con stink.

Guts Berserker armor cosplay I'm in the middle of redoing this one. Haven't quite settled on the method yet. 3d printing it in something like a flexible TPU isn't unappealing but I like the easy to fix nature of foam.

Keeping on my history of favorite cosplays, I present :The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess" version of Ganondorf. Also Smash Brothers technically but he didn't really have his signature Sword of Six Sages. Also that's my wife as Breath of the Wild's Urbosa but she'll get her own post later.

M. Bison VS Juri Han This is one of my favorite cosplay pics. At Anime Expo some years ago I happened across some other Street Fighter cosplayers and this was one of the pics that resulted from the meeting. M Bison, or Vega for you purest, remains one of my favorite costumes.

One of my favorite cosplays, Doctor Doom. Feels more in line with the Roger Corman and comic versions than whatever the MCU is planning. Which I'm entirely cool with frankly.

A build from summer 2024: rainbow glowing broadsword inspired by Unwanted Undead Adventurer's Rentt Faina. I did do the whole cosplay but it came out middling at best. Also nearly killed me but that's not immediately relevant. Just enjoy the glowing sword.

I've been sleeping on Blender something fierce. Been using 3DS Max for years and finally decided to give this a proper try and damned if I'm not impressed. Doesn't seem too fond of my rather exacting size requirements but a little tinkering with the settings have it doing its best. I'm impressed.

It occurs to me that vampires would have an insane edge in stop motion animation.
