I got a special snack to end my birthday! A trachea filled with boiled chicken and capped with some heart shaped treats.

It's my birthday so we got to go on a mini adventure despite it being a weekday.

Side eye and whines because somebody was not giving me the attention I deserve (which, for reference, is all the attention - if I desire it.)

The couch cushions went missing for days because they needed cleaning allegedly. It was awful. But they are back now, and all is good.

This Monday Memory is brought to you by Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. I am not a fan of trails that cause me to sink into the sand when going up and down the dunes. On the bright side, most of this walk had enough foliage for stable ground.

I've been told I look like one of those creatures in the background. I don't think I see the resemblance.

Just a happy meandering in the newly created marshland.

That's a lot more water than there should be ... Makes me glad to be elevated.

When the people first get home l, graciously, let them have the best spots on the couch and accept this instead. At least for a couple minutes. Then I politely let them know, without a doubt, how much I suffer for their comfort.

Today is International Plant Appreciation Day and I can't think of a time I appreciated plants more than this. After driving across the desolace of Nevada and Utah, finally seeing long grass again was the best feeling.

One nice thing about Pharaoh Hounds is that we don't drool much. On an unrelated note. The vet used to call me a snail when I would sniff the floor of the office. Not sure why.

There was a suspicious creature on the night patrol. It seemed benign, but I'll remember to keep an eye out next time.

Somebody wanted to go to bed early last night. So obviously, that meant I had to enthusiastically dig into all the blankets while they were under them. Unfortunately, I ended up tiring myself out instead of encouraging the occupant to leave.

Monday is for Memories... This was an amazing hike at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.

Don't turn off the TV, I'm still watching, I swear.
