Synchronicity by The Police was available in 36 cover variations, with different arrangements of the color stripes and showing different photographs of the band members. And the original record vinyl is purple (purple color only seen when held up to a light bulb).

A necessity in my collection. The Clash Combat Rock (1982) The last album before Mick was kicked out. I had the CD since the '80s, but got the record from my brother when he was getting rid of his small record collection.

More from my collection... Rosanne Cash Somewhere in the Stars (1982) Bought this one off of my buddy Bob when he was selling off his collection and I had it bad for Rosanne. 😁 She covers two songs by John Hiatt on this one and that's all goodness to me!

It's always nice when a record guy shows up at the community yard sale in a supermarket parking lot. New to #RecordsOnTheShelf Loudon's Therapy cost me $6, but I pulled the other one from the dollar bin. I also picked up the Insiders from the dollar bin.

Another from my collection... Billy Bremner Bash! (1982) Catchy stuff! Bremner has played on multiple albums by... Nick Lowe Dave Edmunds Jim Lauderdale Carlene Carter and on Rockpile of course! Nice find from the 99 cent bins from my local record shop a few years ago.

From my collection... The Blasters Over There Mini live album from London (1982). Purchased on vacation at a small record store in Mystic, Connecticut in 2016. And, yes, I did go to Mystic Pizza 🍕😋, but I didn't see Julia ☹️.

BAD 12" remix of "Free" (1990) from the Flashback soundtrack b/w "The Bottom Line" (1985).

And still more BAD from my collection! 12" remixes of "James Brown" b/w "If I Were John Carpenter" (1989) from the forthcoming Megatop Phoenix 🐦‍🔥 which was the last album with the original lineup.

I went to a community yard sale in a park this morning. There were about five guys selling records, but the prices were too ridiculous for the most part. The $2 (or 3/$5) CDs were more my speed.

New to #RecordsOnTheShelf I had to get over $35 to get free shipping from Amazon, sooooo... I found this for $5 and some change. I listened to several tracks before buying. A group out of New England from the late '70s. I think I'm going to like this!

New to #RecordsOnTheShelf I had a $20 Amazon gift card burning a hole in my pocket, so best to pick up Colin's Man at Work vol. 1 right before vol. 2 comes out. I got this on CD 15+ years ago when Tower Records was still around. The new recordings on here are very cool! 😎

At the 5/$1 sale I picked up these 12" singles with no idea who these artists are. It's my intention to use these sort of generic covers and inner sleeves for loose records. #RecordsOnTheShelf
