Y’know the actual strangest part of Bleach’s ending is everyone only has one kid. Like I feel that at minimum each endgame couple would’ve had two (adopted or bio) but no they’ve only got one each.

Rebirth of Souls is actually perfectly replicating my experience with bleach because when it works it’s really good and when it doesn’t, it literally just does not function.

I decided to pull a kubo in the IchiRuki fic I’m currently writing cause it’s a nebulous long time post TYBW but Rukia and Ichigo have just been chilling(read madly pining for eachother) as Captain and vice without ever confessing until a third party gets involved (third party being mysterious goop)

I was doing research for a fic I’m trying to write and I stumbled on a colouring of Ichigo’s Horn of Salvation form that did his skin the bone white of his hollow mask and damn I wish it looked like that. Like it makes the whole design come together way better and matches better with his other forms

I don’t want to doubt the accuracy of apples data collection abilities but I can’t believe I was in the top 500 listeners for Jeff Williams, like yeah I listen to a RWBY soundtracks a bunch but this is insane

I don’t know how to phrase it exactly but MHA chapter 431 is like WDKALY without the insane energy.

Honestly really sucks being one of the like two people who actually liked chapter 430 because this new ending really just takes everything good about it and shits on it. Honest to god do not understand how people are preferring this.

Also more complaining about the ending more generally But something that’s always bothered me is how nothing ever happens with Toga and Izuku. Like I feel Toga’s themes and ideas are just as relevant to Izuku as they were Ochako. But outside of some gags there’s never anything done with them-

Just trying to phrase this better but like 430 we don’t learn a lot mostly just that Izuku lost OFA has been a teacher, gets a suit and becomes a hero again. Then whatever you want happens. Kind of like a lot of tentpole big two characters. But this new ending is just telling us all about-

Not gonna lie, what I’m seeing of the new MHA ending sounds kind of shit. Like the original felt like a homage to the ending of serialised runs under DC and Marvel, the sort of thing MHA has always worn inspiration from openly, whereas the new one feels like blatant sequel setup.
