This is my 15th year playing FPL and my lowest-ever finish is 300k. I'm 110pts off that after 10 GWs. That's gotta be my target for the season, but I'm not hopeful!

After meticulously reviewing all the data from the previous 10 fpl gameweeks, I've finally realized why I'm having such a bad season. I changed my team name for the first time in 3 years. Schoolboy error.

In GW9 I took out Salah to spread the funds and make my team "stronger" - bringing in Saka, Gakpo & Woltemade. Salah alone has outscored all 3 combined in the 2 GW's since. 👍

GW10. Did the same J.Pedro > Mateta move as everyone else. Benched VdV's haul last week so excited to play him for his 1pt return this week. If I can't get a green arrow this GW at rank 5m, I don't know what I'm doing here anymore

A word of warning to all ahead of GW16 - I have actively made my team worse by using transfers this season. If you have transfers saved going into GW16, just because you have them, doesn't mean you have to use them

Sold Mbeumo GW8 to fund J.Pedro. 20 point swing. Closest I've been to quitting this game for many years.

GW9. Made some desperation moves: • Salah > Saka • Reinjders > Gakpo • Foster > Wolte Need a good gameweek, but absolutely expecting the worst

Of course my Leeds defender comes of injured before 45mins while the guy everyone else has scores

The Traitors is great and all but I think they've missed a trick by not making the Roundtable smaller and smaller after each murder/ banishment, so that eventually by the end of the game they're all directly face to face around a teeny tiny table

GW8. Small red arrow and pretty terrible gameweek. • Pope over Dubravs • Sold Mbeumo (for Sarr) • Brought in Sarr over Mateta 3FT's so tempted to blow it up by selling Salah and getting in some - you know - good players, but will wait till closer to deadline (and hemorrhage more TV, probably)

A combined 2 points from the two guys I had going today is not what I hoped for. Keeping Salah as a differential not worked out either. Patience is wearing thin. Mbeumo scoring the week I sold is the icing on a pretty sh*tty cake. Overall a fun weekend in FPL 👍

FPL is just brutal. Spent all break debating Enzo & Mateta vs. Sarr & J. Pedro. Went with the latter due to the Enzo doubts. Swings are so harsh.

GW8. Currently going with a lesser-spotted 4-4-2. Mbeumo > Sarr Richarlison > J. Pedro Dodged J. Pedro all season but jumping on just as people seem to be jumping off. Also backing against Senesi this GW. Bench order pretty random 🤷‍♂️

GW7. Small green. Lyle Foster surprisingly didn't get the haul I hoped for 😂 Richarlison and Mbeumo on the chopping block for GW8 but won't be thinking about that for a while.

GW7. Team looks fine until you get to that forward line. Team news dependent but likely rolling a transfer (to 4) - not enough $ to do anything substantial this GW.

Always nice when players you own in FPL score or assist in midweek Europe/ cup games. Said nobody, ever.

Ended 8 points up on my WC vs. OG team - though might've triple capped Haaland otherwise, so maybe 8 points down? But also saved over 1.0m in team value, so think that's a win. Could've been more if I'd pulled the trigger sooner. Feel in much better shape for the coming weeks, but time will tell 🤞

GW6. Rank rise of almost 3 million should probably be considered a success, but blanks from almost all my "differential" WC picks is kinda disappointing. Doubt they'll stick around for long. First green arrow of the season. Will be playing Lyle Foster next GW, so might be the last.

4 assists in 6 games from a 4.4m defender and having close to zero FPL interest is pretty mad. Diouf looked like prime Bale at points today, and pretty much every delivery was 👌 👀 for GW8

WC6. Some template picks alongside some (probably) downright stupid picks. Kept Salah, which I'm hoping will prove to be a differential over the coming weeks. Concern now switches to the highly possible - and some may say inevitable - likelihood of my OG team outscoring my WC team.

Got the team I want on wildcard. Just need to find a 5th midfielder I like for 0.8m. Any recommendations?

Serious FOMO at all the wildcards flying around. Didn't think my team needed it this GW, but still relying heavily on what have been some really poor picks. The template definitely looks strong, but at 7.5m rank, not sure how beneficial it would be for me to match it. Could be more pain coming!

Going into GW5 with a rank of >7m, as a reasonably "engaged" managed, I didn't think it was possible to get another red arrow - yet here we are! Team is doing terribly, but slightly hamstrung by fixtures. Likely taking out my 2 highest scorers this GW ahead of GW6, too.
