The real magic of Walt Disney was that he could be in two places at the same time. On May 28, 1966, according to accounts (backed up by a trip itinerary I’ve seen) Walt had lunch in Dallas at the new NorthPark Mall and then must’ve hauled buns to Anaheim in time to dedicate “it’s a small world.”

Your favorite artist should be Sam McKim. Not only was he the most prodigious of the original Imagineers, his artwork was pitch-perfect, he had fully fleshed descriptions, and he made abundant notes about the context of his work. Oh to be able to interview him!
