Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving! I spent it with some new friends and had a great time. I'm still plugging away at my stories and hope to have something out by New Years, but until then, have this holiday greeting from Ike and Vivian.

wonder when this whole AI craze will blow over. personally, this whole scramble to market and personify AI as anything remotely close to "helpful" feels like a weak attempt to rationalize the existence of something we already had. AI isn't even that smart; it's just using what we told it to think.

#wip this is the infamous Mr. K, the metaphorical "third wheel" operator at the amusement park Ike and Vivian work at. he's rather self centered and regularly gets passed over for promotions, and blames it on Ike. He's mostly harmless. Mostly.

speaking of narrow gauge diesels, I would like to direct your attention to the single largest and most powerful 2ft gauge diesel locomotive ever made: GE's UM6B, with 4 traction motors, 106,000 lbs of weight, and a blistering 540 horsepower. built 1973 for South African Railways 2 foot operations

i have done basically nothing since the last time i worked on this but its such a fun thing to look at im posting more pictures of it this is a 3 foot gauge C-B-C 1200 horsepower diesel electric made by GE for IRCA of Guatemala and the national railway of Colombia. one is preserved in guatemala
