Over the weekend, I got to do three days of Comp REL at SCG Milwaukee, including my first time on coverage team! As I was leaving the hotel today, one of the red shirts stopped me to tell me the RC head judges were impressed with my performance and glad to have me on the team

Sometimes I see job postings for steady careers with reasonably high salaries that have some relation to my major and I think “hmm, maybe I should apply.” But then I hear a really good song from someone I’m working with and I remember that this is the coolest fucking job ever

I may be many things, but I’m not a liar! I was given the opportunity to team lead the logistics for the Vegas 10k and I feel like I’ve improved leaps and bounds since Tacoma. There were some hiccups with the length of the rounds, but not unreasonable given the newness of the game, imo

Some bona fides for those looking for a TM: - advanced 50 shows for as many as 5 artists at a time - personally oversaw and sold over $250k in merchandise across 50 show dates - took an artist touring on a $2500 loss to an $18k profit by the third tour
