Sometimes curiosity gets the better of me. I smashed an old CPU and shined a red laser on the chip inside. The reflection on the paper is quite interesting. It reminds me a bit of the double slit experiment, though a different effect causes it.

Trying to identify this cactus from the flower image I shot. It's likely Engelmann's Prickly Pear (Opuntia engelmannii) or Mojave Prickly Pear (Opuntia chlorotica), both common in Arizona. It would be easier if I had grabbed a shot of the entire plant.

Heliconia. There are many species and cultivars within the Heliconia genus, often called "lobster-claws," "false bird of paradise," or "parrot's beak" plants.
